Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Disc Golf Thailand (“we”, “us”) collects through www.discgolfthailand.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We are a family-run disc golf course at 17 Moo 4, Tambon Namuang, Ko Samui District, Surat Thani 84140, Thailand.

The short version

The website itself sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking pixels.
If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive what you type in it.
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you.
We never sell your information.

What we collect, and why

Contact form. The form on our Contact page asks for your name, email address, a subject and your message. We use these only to answer you, for example about a tee time, a lesson, a party, the championship or sponsorship. The form is provided by Jotform, which stores the submission and emails it to us. It is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that you are a person rather than a bot.

Email and phone. If you email or call us, we receive your email address or phone number and whatever you tell us, and use it to reply.

Visit statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics tells us how many people visit, which pages they view and roughly where they come from. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you, and we cannot see who you are.

Hosting and security. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and to block attacks.

Course map. The map on our Play page loads map images from OpenStreetMap’s servers, which receive your IP address when the map is shown.

Who processes your information

Jotform — contact form and submissions
Google reCAPTCHA — spam protection on the contact form
Cloudflare — hosting, security and visit statistics
OpenStreetMap — map images on the Play page

These providers may store data outside Thailand. Links to other sites, such as Airbnb, Google Maps, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Tripadvisor, UDisc and Disc Golf Scene, are covered by those sites’ own policies once you follow them.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry or booking, and then delete them. Visit statistics are aggregate and do not contain personal details.

Your rights

Under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (and, for visitors from the EU or UK, the GDPR), you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@discgolfthailand.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee.
